Family Health Online is a service offered through Family Health Magazine, in co-operation with Canada Safeway Pharmacies. Articles appearing have previously been published in and remain copyright of Family Health Magazine.

Family Health  Magazine has provided health information to readers since it was established in 1986.  Each year, our editorial board meets to consider topics which are currently of interest to our readership of over 500,000 per issue.  Family doctors and other health care professionals are then chosen to write the articles.  Our editorial team, made up of medical professionals, then edit each story for accuracy and clarity.  The advice given in our articles is similar to that a patient might receive during an office visit with their family doctor.  The magazine is published quarterly. A second special interest publication distributed through Safeway pharmacies, Managing Diabetes, is published twice each year.

While effort is made to reflect accepted medical knowledge and practice, articles in Family Health OnLine  are intended for a general audience.  Since the information in these articles is not case-specific, they cannot be relied upon for the treatment or management of any specific medical problem or concern.
